Dry Fly

There's more to fishing than catching fish...

How Park Farm is ideally placed right in the heart of chalk stream country. This area is known as the cradle of the dry fly where in the late 19th century the upstream dry fly was developed.

The river Test is overlooked by the farm and the river Itchen is but a short drive away over the downs.

The Arching Rod

The two rivers, and their smaller tributaries are justly celebrated worldwide for the quality of the fishing.

The chalk stream brown trout are the ultimate challenge for the fly fisher. A delicately cast fly that lands like thistle-down is the key to successful catching.

Blissful
Blissful Peace

What a thrill it is for the experienced and beginner alike. Crystal clear water, good hatches of fly and the gentle landscape are the features that make fishing on the chalk streams unique.

A fishing trip that you'll remember is just a phone call away.
